Michelle Woodward, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Michelle Woodward, AuD, co-owner of Hearing Care Partners, is a native of Clarksville, Missouri. She received her Bachelor of Arts in communication disorders from Truman State University in 1997 and her Master of Science degree in audiology from Western Illinois University in 2000. Following her training, Dr. Woodward was hired as a clinical audiologist at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, Missouri. While at the University Hospital and Clinics, she treated patients of all ages and with varying degrees of hearing loss with hearing aids and cochlear implants for over eight years.

From 2008-2013, Dr. Woodward worked with Dr. James Benecke at Otology Associates where she continued to use her training and expertise to evaluate individuals’ hearing loss so that the best option for hearing rehabilitation could be achieved. In addition, she provided full diagnostic evaluations for balance and dizziness. In 2015, Dr. Woodward received her Clinical Doctorate from Arizona School of Health Sciences.

Her varied clinical experience, knowledge gained from hundreds of hours of continued education, and passion for helping people enable Dr. Woodward to offer her patients the highest level of hearing health care. She is currently certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and maintains a fellowship with the American Academy of Audiology. She is also an active member of Rotary International- Kirksville Noon Club and Quota International of Kirksville. When not in the office, Dr. Woodward can be found spending time with her husband and two daughters, running, and following Mizzou football.
